The saddest part of this is that someone gave you a legitimate reason to feel scared to the point that you feel you must need your phone so close at hand. I've a bit of a blog stalker who has sent me packages, calls at all time of night, etc. It *is* disconcerting and worrisome. -R. Hm. It sounds scary. I'm glad you don't have to worry about the stalker anymore, but it's scary that you even had to start sleeping with your phone in the first place. I sleep with mine right next to me on the night stand... and I can't sleep unless it is there. But I also sleep with a gun in the night stand too, so you know... whatever makes you feel safe. Then again, she hasn't done so badly since then, and it's kind of mean to blame that on a mostly harmless electronic device. I don't sleep WITH my phone because I'm too afraid of losing it, but it is almost always within arm's reach.
