That is hilarious. I cant believe you sleep with your phone. But some people like stuffed bears you like your phone. No harm in that.
And I am in complete agreement with talking about phone on the first date. Hell; you shouldn’t resort to talking about your phones till after the 3rd or 4th date (lol). It’s all about getting to know the person; not their phone.

I tend to cradle my phone sometimes, if I’m waiting for a text or a phone call, no matter the time. I’d rather by rudely awoken than miss it.

But if you’re not waiting for a call, leave it, change your settings!

The only thing I can think of which is less appropriate than 5 am text messages (or even 7am for that matter), is using more than 3 exclamation marks.
Those were also not appropriate places for use of more than one (if that.

Also, as the master of all intentionally mis-pronounced Caucasian-culture stereotypes I am deeply offended at the word “canuak” which indeed is not a word.

Appropriate slurs would be: Loony, Hockey-American, or person from Canadia.

There is no word as ‘canuak’ .. I think he meant ‘canuk’ which is apparently a slang term for Canadians … erm are you Canadian ??
