I have been hit on and dated when I was tiny to what I am now which is not ideal but far from terrible. It's all in how someone carries themselves, if you are confident in your body that is what is attractive! I don't know what my "type" is,but Im sure I'll know it when I find it.....and I so feel you on the keeping up with outgoing and strong wit, and the competition that can lead too. Oh well! ;) I added you the other day to y blog roll, and I checked it's still there! About the "fat" thing...I've been thin, in between, and a chunky monkey (my current state of affairs), and my husband (who's smokin hot and unfortunately aging better than me) is into my regardless. And I still get hit on by men no matter what size I am (albeit moreso when I'm thinner). What's my point? Real men like real women, not a media-induced fantasy of what a woman should look like - the same industry heavily influenced by a gale male aesthetic. What I had found (while single) that was a challenge for me was finding a man who could keep up with me intellectually and could handle my sharp wit. Many of the guys I liked - the ones who were outgoing and funny and what not - eventually didn't want to work too hard/'compete' with me (although it was never a competition for me, it was a relationship). I ended up with the strong, silent type, and someone who actually got off on seeing me shine. I don't know what your "type" is, Lost Plum, but that is what I wish for you - someone who genuinely celebrates you. (Btw, whatsa girl gotta do to be added to your blogroll, Huh?
