vroom vroom….

I’ve been noticing a lot of bumper stickers on cars lately. You know the ones: Baby on Board, Baby in Car, Toddlers in Tow, blada blada blah.

Now, I sorta see the point of these, but then again I don’t.  Basically, they are saying other drivers need to be careful and watch their driving because there is precious cargo on board.

Well aren’t we all precious cargo? What makes a child more precious then me? (besides the obvious) Shouldn’t this message be more for the actual driver of said precious cargo?  Shouldn’t we all be driving around with an awareness of the lives of others around us?

Did you know if a child is properly secured in proper seating, they are more likely to survive a car accident then an adult?  Interesting fact, don’t you agree?

When I get another car I’m making myself a bumper sticker that says:

Healthy Uterus and Ovaries En Route. Think of their Future!

Not to put any kind of damper on your post… but I think those signs are there for emergency purposes. To alert EMTs and the like to look for a child in the event of an accident.

hate to break it to theresa but she is wrong. if they need to “look” for a kid at the scene they pretty much ain’t finding that kid alive at least. These are so people can brag about being better then everyone else. “look I have a kid, Ive made the world a better place”
