Just a friend, but he was still of the male gender. It's not worth it. Trust me. It's just a pain in the ass. If you aren't sleeping with them, it's just not worth it. I much rather travel alone and explore in peace. At some point I'm sure I will long to share a vacation experience again with someone special, but when you are committed to a holiday trip with someone you can not tolerate any longer, the trip is a failure.
