The Lost Plum…

It’s the 4th of July and from this non-American to all you, I thought I should write about something patriotic, or not…

I don’t get this attraction to people in uniform. I’ve always been more of a “suit and tie” kind of girl. This might steam from the fact that my University had a large co-op education program where they would do interviews every semester. And all the boys would throw on their really nice ‘interview’ suits….and I’d sit there and swoon as groups of them walked by!

But uniforms, nope nothing! Not a fireman, not a cop, not an army-navy-armed forces anything.

The only thing remotely attractive about men in uniform is that fact that they are usually physically fit (in order to serve and protect us!)

But take off the uniform and then maybe we’ll talk!  (or do other things!)

FACT: I did have a very drunken moment in a bar restroom with a “sailor” on Halloween.
