The first reference to sex must have been at the Spanish airport whilst our flights were delayed and we saw a 16 yr old pregnant girl come and sit across us (I was 16 at the time too) .. and my mom just looks over at my sister and me and says - if you girls EVER got pregnant before getting married - please come to me so I can help you sort it out - otherwise your father will kill you and then kill me ! So no direct reference to sex - just enough threat that our father would kill us and that sex can get you pregnant before you know it ! The second time at age 17, I was getting ready for a party - and out of nowhere .. 'so have you had sex' ? errmmm NO MOM !! 'Well - if you 'must' have sex - ideally it should be someone that you are going to get married to .... !! Mind you - she's not the most conservative lady - but she would like to think of her daughters as angels rather than the devils we are haha Thanks for sharing - I just told my mom that and made her laugh 'cos she agreed it's also true that if you've been with a guy for quite a while and not sleeping together - he could start straying or losing interest !
