(after work stopped to grab dinner at SubConscious)
THE CHECKOUT SUB CONSCIOUS CHICK:
“Look at you and your little salad dinner for one, aww”
ME:
” Pardon?”
THE SUBS CONSCIOUS CHICK:
” It’s Valentines and you are all alone, it’s sad that’s all.”
ME:
“Yeah, but not as sad as being stuck here”
(reason #___ why I’m single: no love on valentines day;not even a smile from the checkout girl!)
